
Edgar Trinidad is a multifaceted marketing communications professional with a background that includes integrated marketing to optimize online visibility, branding, and public awareness initiatives. His services include stakeholder relations, website content development, digital communications and content creation, and media outreach.
Leveraging his expertise in communications, he has provided pro bono PR counsel to Project Help Us Give, the organizer of the annual H.U.G. Gala fundraiser benefiting pediatric services at NYU Langone Medical Center, and taught a popular workshop on fashion events planning and publicity at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s School of Continuing Education.
From 2013 to 2018, Edgar served as Director of Marketing and Communications for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation where he grew visibility for the Foundation’s annual fundraising events. In 2016, he created an integrated marketing campaign for the Foundation’s 40th Anniversary that saw contributions grow by 33 percent and media impressions climb to a three-year high of 2 billion. As a consultant, Edgar has promoted the important work of nonprofit organizations such as Kids in Distressed Situations (now known as Delivering Good) and ADAPT Community Network (in partnership with The Bromley Group, a publicity and events production agency).
Most recently, Edgar worked in fundraising for Advocates for Children of New York, a nonprofit that protects the education rights of students from families with low incomes. During his five-year tenure there, he managed a campaign that raised $5 million in private funding to invest in AFC’s future capacity and impact, and produced several of their most successful Annual Appeals and Giving Tuesday campaigns.
